Payment links for adult creators
Which payment processors accept adult transactions, which ones close accounts, and why every creator should keep two working links.

Why mainstream wallets are a problem
On VestaCreate, fans pay you directly through payment links you add to your page. That means the processor behind each link is your choice, and it also means the processor's rules are your problem.
Most mainstream wallets do not allow adult transactions. PayPal's acceptable use policy prohibits certain sexually oriented materials and services, and Venmo and Cash App have similar restrictions. People do get paid through them for a while, and then the account is frozen with the balance held, sometimes for up to 180 days. Being frozen with a month's income inside is worse than never using the service.
The honest summary: if a processor's terms do not clearly permit adult content, assume it will close your account eventually.
Processors that work with adult businesses
Policies change often, so check the current terms before you sign up. The categories that generally work:
- Adult-friendly payment links built for creators. Tuppence is one example; others appear and disappear each year. Look for an explicit statement that adult creators are welcome.
- High-risk merchant accounts. CCBill, Segpay, Epoch and Verotel have processed adult transactions for decades. They charge more, often around 10 to 15 percent plus fees, and expect you to have a site or storefront, but they are built for this.
- Cryptocurrency. Works anywhere and there is no account to close, but fans find it awkward and prices swing. Treat it as a backup, not the main road.
- Gift cards and wishlists. Not a payment method in the strict sense, but many fans are happy to send them.
Credits on VestaCreate are another route. Fans buy credit packs from VestaCreate and spend them on your content, and you cash out at 75 cents per credit to your chosen payout method. That takes the processor relationship off your plate for those sales.
Keep two options live
Every experienced adult creator has lost a payment account at least once. Set up two independent links before you need them, and show both on your page so fans already know the alternative exists.
- Choose links from different companies, not two products from the same parent.
- Move money out of any processor weekly. Do not let a balance build.
- Save transaction records somewhere you control, not only in the processor's dashboard.
- Note the sign-up date and any identity documents you submitted, so you can re-verify quickly if asked.
When a link does stop working, update your page the same day. Fans who hit a dead link rarely come back to ask.
